The Supercars Championship heads to Queensland Raceway for the first time since 2019, with the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440 playing host to the final round of the Supercars Sprint Cup.
The 3.1km circuit will host three races across 8-10 August, with the Sprint Cup winner gaining automatic entry into the Finals Series.
Current Championship leader Broc Feeney is a main contender this weekend, winning nine of the last 12 races and holding an impressive 220-point lead over Triple Eight teammate Will Brown.
Fans can anticipate a battle between Brown and Penrite Racing’s Matthew Payne for second place in the standings, with the pair having 15 point gap.
The event commences on Friday with two practice sessions, followed by a busy Saturday headlined by dual 120km sprints. A 200km race will headline Sunday’s action.
This weekend also features the Australian Superbikes Championship, the only time all year the two series will race on the same track on the same weekend.
Zach Bates makes his Supercars debut this weekend, driving with Triple Eight Race Engineering alongside Feeney and Brown as a wildcard entry. Bates is also competing in the Super2 Series, making for a double duty challenge on debut.

“It’s very surreal to be making a Supercars debut,” Bates said.
“It’s fantastic to be out here, and to be a part of the wildcard program. The nerves are starting to kick in, so it was great to catch up with the team for a debrief before the weekend.”
The Bates family is well-known in Australian motorsport, primarily for its exploits in rallying. Zach’s father Rick, Uncle Neal, and cousins Harry and Lewis have all plied the family trade on gravel, winning numerous Australian Rally Championships.
“It’s been a while since dad raced in Supercars and my family is very known for rallying,” Bates said.
“To have the family name back in Supercars is very special, and I hope I can fly the flag nice and high.”
The 2025 Ipswich Super 440 will also make history, with James Courtney becoming the fourth driver in history to make his 600th race start. Courtney will join fellow greats Craig Lowndes, Garth Tander, and Mark Winterbottom on the exclusive list.

This weekend will be a full circle moment for Courtney, who drove a Supercar at Queensland Raceway at a ride day for the Holden Racing Team in 2005, and three years later scored his first career win at the same venue.
This will be Courtney’s final time racing in Supercars at Queensland Raceway, with the 45-year-old retiring from full-time racing at the end of the year.
Tickford Racing’s Cam Waters will make his 300th career start this weekend, with the 31-year-old making his debut at the 2011 Bathurst 1000 at 17 years old.
Reigning Supercars Champion Will Brown also hits his 150th race start this weekend.
Broadcast coverage will be live on Foxtel and Kayo, alongside free-to-air on Seven and 7plus.
