The calendar swiftly rolls into May and leads with a weekend full of motorsport activity.
Close to 30 events are scheduled throughout the weekend, including two State Championship events in New South Wales and Victoria. Meanwhile, Radical Cup Australia will support the Australian Superbike Championship at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in Tailem Bend.
Supporting the fourth round of the NSW Hillclimb Championships in New South Wales will be the Toyosports Car Club of New South Wales’ Time Attack Autocross at Colo Park, and the third supersprint round hosted by the Mazda MX-5 Club of NSW.
Queensland’s suite of motorsport events heads to Townsville for the local autosports club’s Khanacross Series opener at Charter Towers. Whereas the Willowbank Motorsport Park hosts Ipswich West Moreton Auto Club’s Drivers Challenge Round 1 and Proston Car Rally Club prepares to run its second khanacross/burnout event of 2026.
Hosting 12 events this week, Victoria features a mix of state and club-level events, as well as a Women’s Introduction to Motorsport session at Sandown International Raceway.
In addition to the third round of the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championships, clubs to host events include Austin 7 Club, Bendigo Car Club, Shepparton & District Car Club, MG Car Club of Victoria, Maffra and District Car Club and more.
Complementing the Barrington Hill Climb in Tasmania, a formidable three-event combination led by the Beverley Off Road Motorsports Association, Light Car Club of WA and WRX Club of WA will touch on autocross, rally sprint and hill climb disciplines in the country’s west.
