The provisional calendar for the 2027 EROAD Australian Rally Championship (ARC) has been unveiled, with six rounds set for the nationwide campaign.
Once again, the championship will visit six different states and take crews to all corners of Australia, with all six events from the 2026 calendar returning next year.
Several events will take on new positions in the schedule, with half of the calendar receiving date changes designed to provide teams, drivers and fans with a diverse range of conditions throughout the season.
EROAD Australian Rally Championship Director Adrian Coppin said he was pleased to release the provisional calendar early, giving teams, drivers and stakeholders plenty of time to begin planning for 2027.
“A lot has gone into making this calendar work and I am pleased with how the calendar is looking – there will be a mix of events with a range of weather – giving our crews a chance to showcase their skills in different conditions,” Coppin said.
Following a hugely successful maiden appearance as the season opener in 2026, Rally Queensland will once again launch the championship and kick off the new season.
The ARC will then head west for the Forest Rally, with Western Australia’s longest-running rally retaining its traditional May position.
The 2027 Forest Rally will mark the 41st time the rally has hosted Australia’s premier rally championship.
The first of the revised dates comes with Rally Tasmania, which moves from its traditional August slot to early-July as the third round of the season.
Victoria will then host the Gippsland Rally returning to its customary August position.
The Adelaide Hills Rally remains the penultimate round of the championship and will once again take place in October, before the Narooma Forest Rally brings the season to a close in November.
The newest event on the ARC calendar, Narooma will again provide a spectacular setting for the championship finale, with crews tackling the forests surrounding the picturesque New South Wales coastal town.
“We have been blessed with good weather at every round in 2026 and I am sure competing in both Victoria and Tasmania during winter will be exciting on a number of fronts – including the possibility of rallying on snow which is always a hit with our fans,” Coppin added.
“All in all, we are excited to have next year’s calendar out there and look forward to finalising it in the coming months once our dates are confirmed not to conflict with anything.”
Before attention turns to next year’s campaign, two rounds remain in the 2026 EROAD Australian Rally Championship.
The Adelaide Hills Rally will take place across Mount Barker and the surrounding forests from 2-4 October, before the Middle of Everywhere Gippsland Rally brings the season to a close in Victoria’s picturesque Gippsland region on 20-22 November.
