Spring gets underway with a busy weekend of Motorsport Australia-permitted competition, with more than 20 events scheduled across the country.
New South Wales headlines the national schedule with two major supersprint events taking place at some of the country’s most iconic circuits.
The World Time Attack Challenge returns to Sydney Motorsport Park from Friday through Saturday, while the Bathurst Light Car Club’s Conrod Flyer takes competitors to Mount Panorama on the weekend.
Grassroots competition is also well represented throughout New South Wales, with multiple khanacross events scheduled alongside a hillclimb hosted by the Wollongong Sporting Car Club at Huntley.
The Northern Territory will welcome the return of Red CentreNATS 12 in Alice Springs, while the North Australian Motor Sports Club continues its club championship season with Round 9 of the NT Motorkhana Championship at Hidden Valley.
Queensland’s program includes the Pittsworth Sprints, the Australian Super Trucks Race Meeting at Morgan Park Raceway and a Come and Try/Test and Tune autocross event hosted by Ipswich West Moreton Auto Club.
South Australia’s state hillclimb competitors will take centre stage at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, where the 2026 Motorsport Australia South Australian Hill Climb Championship will be contested across Saturday and Sunday.
Victoria again offers one of the most diverse programs of the weekend, with autocross, motorkhana, khanacross, observed section trial and non-competitive events spread across regional venues. Shepparton and District Car Club’s day/night autocross event and Father’s Day motorkhana action at Westmere are among the grassroots highlights.
Tasmania will host Round 4 of the Tasmanian Motorkhana Championship at Symmons Plains Raceway, while Western Australia rounds out the weekend with supersprint, autocross and test and tune competition.
