September heads towards its conclusion with another busy weekend of Motorsport Australia-permitted competition, with 24 events scheduled across seven states and territories.
New South Wales leads the way with 10 events on the calendar, followed by Victoria with seven. Western Australia will host two events, while Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory each contribute to another diverse weekend of competition.
New South Wales takes centre stage with the HSRCA 2026 Goulburn Historics, with historic racing returning to One Raceway across Saturday and Sunday.
Sydney Motorsport Park will also be a major hub of activity, with the BMW Drivers Club NSW and Jaguar Drivers’ Club of Australia both hosting supersprint events, while Impreza WRX Club NSW stages its Round 6 Motorkhana. Further motorkhana competition will take place at Colo and Silverdale, with khanacross events at Limestone Pit and Unkya Reserve. Nabiac Motor Sports Complex will also host the Central North Coast Sporting Car Club’s S1 Rallysprint.
Victoria’s seven-event program features circuit racing, grassroots competition and development opportunities.
The Hi-Tec Oils Super Series will contest Round 5 at Winton Motor Raceway, while motorkhana and khanacross action will also feature across the state, with Come and Try competition at Geelong Motor Sports Complex, junior development at Pakenham Auto Club and Rollinson Reserve, and a khanacross event at Bryant Park.
Western Australia will host two events, with WA Sporting Car Club staging Round 5 at Wanneroo Raceway across Saturday and Sunday. Light Car Club of WA will also host Round 4 of its BMG Autos Rally Sprint Challenge at Winvale Park.
South Australia will feature two khanacross events, with Walkerville All Cars Club hosting DH Rallysport at Walky Park before EP Autosports Club stages an Arno Bay Khanacross Come & Try on Sunday.
Queensland’s sole event will see FNQ Motorsports Club return to Tepon Raceway for its Gravel Khanacross Interclub/Embers and Round 6 meeting.
Tasmania will host the MG Club Day at Baskerville Raceway, incorporating timed laps and circuit sprints, while the Australian Capital Territory will see Southern District Motorsports Association stage its Hillclimb at Fairbairn Park.
Khanacross and motorkhana once again feature strongly across the weekend, alongside circuit racing, supersprints, rallysprints, hillclimb and non-competitive development events.
