Entries for the Motorsport Australia Khanacross Championship are now open.
Taking place in September at the Mid Murray Motorplex in South Australia, the national event will see competitions tackling up to 20 tests across two days of non-stop action.
With a massive schedule planned, the Southern Districts Car Club will be running two separate tracks at the same time to make sure competitors get the max out of the event and value for money.
In addition to the two-day competition, the club will be running multiple activations in the lead up, which includes a launch party on the Friday night and a dinner at the track on Saturday night.
The launch party will take place at the famous Paddle Steamer Marion, where competitors, officials and locals will undergo a meet and greet to pump up the event.
With the khanacross also serving as the third round of the Motorsport Australia SA Khanacross Championship, a strong field is expected to attend.
Entries for the event will be accepted until 30 August and interested competitors can

Secretary of the Event, Stephany Broad, was looking forward to finally getting the chance to hold the event after two long years.
“We are absolutely excited to be running this event in 2022 and we have been putting a lot of work into the track, so it should be ready and looking good ahead of September,” Broad said.
“We will host a couple of working bees to get it in order, especially since there are plans to run two tracks at the same time, before moving to one in the final stages of the event.
“It would be great to see people attend the event and we are already expecting a number of former champions to be in attendance, which is fantastic.
“The club has also received a grant from the Mid Murray Council to help run the event so a big thank you to them for their support, as well as Woodcroft Car Care and SC Racing for sponsoring the event.”
