After a successful debut on the 2022 RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship, the EROAD Power Stage will again feature at all rounds in 2023.
EROAD has also confirmed its ongoing support as naming rights partner for the Power Stage will also continue in 2023.
With a thrilling final round and EROAD Power Stage having taken place at the Supercheap Auto Coffs Coast Rally, the live broadcast of each event’s final stage has clearly been a popular addition to the ARC and provides the opportunity for bonus points that helped shape the fight for the outright Championship.
EROAD Australia General Manager, Konrad Stempniak said the organisation was proud to continue as naming rights partner of the EROAD Power Stage.
“We have enjoyed the battles and live action from each and every EROAD Power Stage in 2022 and look forward to seeing even more people enjoying the stage through the live broadcast,” Stempniak said.
“The competitors have certainly told us how much they enjoy the EROAD Power Stage and pushing hard to make sure they finish the rally on a high and also with some extra Championship points under their belt.
“We have enjoyed supporting the ARC and the Motorsport Australia team this year by providing visibility on their assets through the use of EROADS technology and we’re excited about what lies in store for 2023.”
Motorsport Australia Director of Motorsport & Commercial Operations Michael Smith thanked EROAD for their continued partnership for a stage that has brought rally action to more motorsport fans.
“The EROAD Power Stage has certainly been an exciting extra element to what was a thrilling Australian Rally Championship season,” Smith said.
“The team at EROAD have been there all the way in 2022 and have made the delivery of the Power Stage possible, so to have them confirmed for next season is a terrific boost for the 2023 ARC.
“We’re confident the ARC will only get better and better, with new cars, competitive fields and a Championship that visits a wide range of towns and regional centres.
“The EROAD Power Stage is a popular and captivating component that provides plenty of talking points and battles between drivers as they search for all-important bonus points and bragging rights on the event’s final stage – as we saw this year, it was a stage that also had a significant impact in the overall ARC standings.”
The 2023 RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship calendar was released earlier this year and begins with Rally Launceston in March.
