National Trans Am Series

Race 3

Tom Hayman converted his pole position into a second-straight National Trans Am Series race win in a chaotic third race at Queensland Raceway.

The New South Welshman led in a lights-to-flag performance to take the chequered flag ahead of AWC’s Lochie Dalton and Pioneer DJ’s Elliot Barbour.

The race finished under safety car conditions, with series leader, James Moffat finishing fourth after having to make his way through the grid after being spun on lap one.

Race 4

Tom Hayman continued his red-hot form at Queensland Raceway to complete a National Trans Am Series clean sweep in race four.

Once again leading from start to finish, Hayman crossed the line ahead of the impressive Pioneer DJ entry of Elliot Barbour and series leader, James Moffat.

Moffat’s closest title contender, Lochie Dalton finished fourth.

Hayman took obvious round honours after three race win, with an impressive Barbour finishing second while Moffat rounded out the podium places.

The National Trans Am Series will next feature at Sandown Raceway on 8-10 September.

Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series

Race 2

Exclusive Switchboards’ rookie, Brad Harris crossed the line first for his maiden series win in the reverse-grid race two.

Starting on the front row, Harris found the lead in the early stages and was made to hold off both Aaron Cameron and race one winner Will Brown for the entirety of the second half of the race.

The series’ newest race winner finished less than half a second ahead of Cameron in second, while Brown sealed third after starting from tenth and locked in pole position for race three with the most cumulative points.

Race 3

Will Brown put in another solid performance to take victory in the category's third and final race of the weekend, finishing ahead of Aaron Cameron and rookie Brad Harris.

An early safety car intervention was required after reigning champion Tony D'Alberto made contact with Jordan Cox - ending the latter's race as a result.

When the race restarted, Brown was in a class of his own, despite another safety car intervention in the dying stages as Cameron worked his way up to claim not only second in the race, but second for the round.

Claiming the round win ahead of Cameron was Brown, who had two race wins in his return to the series while Harris rounded out the podium places.

The Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series will return to the track at Sandown Raceway on 8-10 September.

Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS

Top 10 Shootout

A 1:08.58 from Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim was enough to put him and Jamie Whincup on pole position for race two after the categories first ever Top 10 Shootout.

The Triple Eight Race Engineering #88 went fastest ahead of Shannon’s Liam Talbot, who will start second ahead of Geoff Emery and Max Hofer.

Am driver, Brad Schumacher did well to claim fourth, while Yasser Shahin and Garnett Patterson will start in fifth.

Race 2

Shannons entry, Liam Talbot and Garth Tander picked up the final race win of the weekend, despite Talbot receiving a 15-second penalty after contact with Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim.

With all the action coming in the second half, Geoff Emery took advantage of the incident ahead to claim second after a great stint from Jamec teammate Max Hofer early on – with the duo picking up the round win in the process.

Coming home in third was the Triple Eight Race Engineering Ibrahim and Jamie Whincup, who were unlucky to miss out on the win after being spun while leading in the dying stages.

The Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS will next feature at the VALO Adelaide 500 on 23-25 November.

Kumho V8 Touring Car Series

Race 3

Jamie Tilley picked up his second Kumho V8 Touring Car Series race win of the weekend in a highlight-filled account, while Ray Hislop claimed round honours.

Stalling on the line in fourth, the Notlaw Racing entry had plenty of work to do to work his way back to the front of the grid, taking advantage of issues around the field to finish ahead of RHM/Nulon’s Hislop and Anderson Motorsport’s Jude Bargwanna.

A second-place finish for Hislop was enough to confirm the round win, with Tilley in second and series leader Bargwanna in third.

The Kumho V8 Touring Car Series will next feature at Sandown Raceway on 8-10 September.

Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge Australia

Race 3

Nash Morris completed a Queensland Raceway clean sweep after taking victory in the category's third and final race of the weekend.

Coming in second was Hamish Fitzsimmons, who held the lead early in the race before Morris took back control, falling three seconds short of the latter in a highly interrupted race.

Second to fifth put on a show in the dying stages of the race, but it was Oscar Targett claiming third in a nailbiter over Marco Giltrap, who was then followed by previous round winner, Aron Shields.

The Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge will next take to the track at The Bend Motorsport Park on 13-15 October.

Mobil 1 Australian Production Car Series and Monochrome GT4 Australia Series

Race 3

Mark Griffith and Nash Morris took honours in a thrilling race three for GT4, outlasting Tony Quinn and Shane Smollen/Lachlan Mineeff to take victory, while Coleby Cowham took out APC.

Starting from pole, Quinn lost the position early to Smollen who led the race through the pit stop phase. Mineeff would continue in the lead before both Quinn and Morris would catch the TCR regular in the later stages.

Quinn would take the race lead before Morris made a move with just over a minute to go to seal the victory for he and Griffith.

In APC, Cowham put in a near faultless performance to finish ahead of FITN winner, Iain Sherrin. Ben Gersekowski would pick up his first podium finish of the round by finishing third.

The combined Mobil 1 Australian Production Car Series and Monochrome GT4 Australia Series will next feature at Sandown Raceway on 8-10 September.
