The track schedule for Race Tailem Bend has been confirmed with three busy days forming part the fourth round of the 2024 Shannons SpeedSeries calendar.

Taking place at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in South Australia, seven categories will take centre stage across the weekend, with more than 25 hours of track pencilled in for the event.

For the first time, the Shannons SpeedSeries will also utilise the facility’s exciting West circuit – a 3.41km, 12 turn layout.

Each category will run with a variety of formats over the course of the round, with endurance and sprint races.

Following successful season openers at last month’s Ford Mustang 60 Years Race Phillip Island, Monochrome GT4 Australia and the Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia Powered By AWS will continue with their two one-hour races – one of which will occur on Saturday and Sunday.

The two popular GT categories won’t be the only ones to have endurance races in South Australia, with the return of Meguiar’s Australian Production Cars to see the series expand to four one-hour races after holding four 30-minute outings at February’s Race Sandown.

Trans Am will return to the four race format it enjoyed at Symmons Plains in March with two races to occur on both of Saturday and Sunday.

The remaining three categories of TCR, Sports Sedans and Porsche will have three races each – the latter of which will have its endurance race run on Sunday morning.
