Led by the day’s individual best runner, Pierz Harrex, whose two fastest times were split by just two-hundredths of a second, the team also had the third most consistent driver in Simon Harrex – his fastest times just five-hundredths of a second apart.
In outright second place was team Safety Fast, the five-entrant team falling just shy of the win after Peter Andrews led from the front with his two fastest times averaging only one-hundredth of a second slower than that of Harrex.
Rounding out the podium was team Stay on Track thanks to the fine work of their top two most consistent drivers in Jeff Graham and Brian Pettit, while national hill climb title contender Dean Tighe’s four-man team Fast Safely finished fourth.
