Every state and territory features on the Motorsport Australia calendar this weekend with 34 events kicking off from Wednesday 20 May.
Victoria will host 11 events, New South Wales with 10, Queensland five, Western Australia three, Northern Territory two and we see one event for each of South Australia, Tasmania and the Australian Capital Territory.
In NSW, Circuit Italia’s Drive Day takes place on Wednesday, as does Porsche Club NSW’s Driver Training Night. The Australian Historic Rally Group takes to the Upper Hunter on 23 & 24 May while the Renault Car Club of Australia hosts Round 3 of the NSW Motorkhana Championship at Nirimba Education Precinct on Sunday.
Victoria’s events include Pakenham Auto Club’s Khanacross and Non Competitive Junior Development day on Saturday and Sunday, Gippsland Car Club Hillclimb will take place at Bryant Park, and the Kyneton Car Club’s Junior Development Day is at Rollinson Reserve on Sunday.
In Queensland the Warwick District Sporting Car Club hosts Round 3 of the Queensland Circuit Racing State Championship at Morgan Park Raceway, there’s a Coastal Show and Shine from Douglas Shire Motor Sport Association at Reynolds Park Port Douglas and the Whitsunday Sporting Car Club Association will host a khanacross at Tonka Park.
The WA Car Club brings the excitement of the Plant Hire Forest Rally to Nannup on Friday to Sunday as part of the EROAD Australian Rally Championship.
Tasmania’s sole event is a big one, with the Supercars Championship Tyrepower Tasmania Super 400 at Symmons Plains Raceway.
Hillclimb SA hosts the Round 3 of the Atom Sprints Khanacross at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park from Friday to Sunday.
In the ACT, the Southern District Motorsports Association will host a hill climb at Fairbairn Park.
The Northern Territory hosts Round 6 of the NT Motorkhana Club Championship at Hidden Valley Raceway on Friday and Central Australian Rally Sport Club has Round 1 of the SDA Plumbing Autocross at the Finke Desert Race Complex on Sunday.
