September continues with a busy weekend of Motorsport Australia-permitted events, with almost 30 events scheduled across the country.
New South Wales headlines the national schedule with eight events, including the 2026 Sunraysia Safari Cross Country Rally, which gets underway in the Wentworth Shire from Wednesday through Saturday.
Hillclimb action will feature at both Gunnedah and Grafton across the weekend, while grassroots competitors will also have plenty of opportunities with an autocross at Colo Park, a motorkhana at Armidale and three khanacross events at Raleigh Raceway, Yvonne Martyn Memorial Motorsport Park and Ringwood Park Motor Sport Complex.
Queensland will host five events, with Round 4 of the Queensland Super Sprint Series A taking place at Morgan Park Raceway. Khanacross competition will also feature strongly, with events scheduled at Millchester Motorsport Complex, Tepon Raceway, Benaraby Motor Sport Complex and the Reef and Rainforest Track.
South Australia will be headlined by the AirTouch 500 at The Bend Motorsport Park, with the major circuit event running from Friday through Sunday. Collingrove will host two hillclimb events, while Southern Districts Car Club will combine a Come N Try Khanacross with its Junior Development Program at Mid Murray Motorplex.
Victoria offers one of the most wide-ranging programs of the weekend, with seven events spread across the state. The Victorian Hillclimb Championship heads to Bryant Park for Round 5, while the Vintage Sports Car Club of Victoria will host its Pre-War Rob Roy Hill Climb.
Grassroots action will also feature prominently, with autocross proceedings at Bagshot Motorsports Complex, motorkhana events at Geelong and Boisdale, and a Come & Try khanacross at 139 Track Three.
Western Australia will host three events, with Scouts WA Motorsport’s RoVent 2.0 taking place at the Bunbury Autocross Track alongside a Khanacross and Driver Development Day at the Bormsa Motorplex. Round 4 of the WA State Motorkhana Championship will also be contested at Tiger Kart Club.
The Northern Territory’s two-event program includes a night khanacross at CARS Motorplex on Saturday, followed by an off-road test and tune at the Finke Desert Race Complex on Sunday.
