Shamrock Haulage is the latest company to continue its backing of the RSEA Safety Motorsport Australia Rally Championship (ARC) after confirming a one-year extension.
Having signed up as a partner for the 2021 season, the New South Wales based company will continue to support the ARC for all seven rounds next year.
And just like this year, it will once again be the name partner for the Shamrock Haulage ARC 2WD Cup – a newly introduced class open to all eligible 2WD vehicles, both front and rear wheel drive.
Owned by regular rally competitor Richie Dalton, Shamrock Haulage provides clients across the civil construction, heavy haulage, transport, and logistics industries, with an ever-expanding fleet of large-scale vehicles.
Dalton, who is a major supporter of the ARC, was more than happy to sign-on for another year.
“It’s a tough year because we didn’t get as much exposure as we thought we would due to rounds being cancelled, but we’re happy to continue for another year regardless,” Dalton said.
“I truly believe in the ARC as a product, especially since I am a competitor myself, so it makes sense to showcase my belief by backing it again.
“I think the 2WD Cup is also important, which is why we’re supporting that too. It’s great to see lots of talent coming through the 2WD ranks as it gives them a strong foundation to start their national rally journeys on.”
Motorsport Australia Director of Motorsport and Commercial Operations Michael Smith thanked Dalton and his company for his continued support.
“A big thanks needs to go out to Richie and the team at Shamrock Haulage for getting behind the ARC and the 2WD Cup for another year,” Smith said.
“It’s no secret that 2021 wasn’t the year we were hoping it would be, so to have companies like Shamrock jump on board for another year gives us that confidence that the championship is doing many things right.
“Hopefully we can have a much bigger year in 2022 and I am looking forward to seeing the three-leaf clover of Shamrock Haulage around ARC Service Parks again.”
