It’s quite hard to miss the biggest motor sport event in Australia and this weekend the international superstars of the sport's most prestigious category have made their way to Melbourne for the season opener of the 2019 Formula 1 season.
A lot of hype is surrounding the new season, especially with local hero Daniel Ricciardo set to make his debut in the Renault after a decade with Red Bull.
The event features a nice line up of support categories taking place with the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, the CAMS PAYCE Australian Formula 4 Championship and the CAMS Australian GT Championship all part of the action.
With day passes starting from $35, motor sport fans wanting to make their way down to Albert Park can purchase tickets here.
Charters Towers Go for Gold

Some of the best gravel rally cars in the north of Australia will all be heading to the Millchester Motorsport Complex to take out the popular Charters Towers Go for Gold Rallysprint.
The event took place in July last year but has since moved to March and has a range of highly competitive vehicles including an Australian Championship winning 4WD Corolla.
Admission for the event is free. Fans will have access to get up close and personal to the action, making it the only event of its kind in North Queensland.

2019 GSCC Hillclimb Series Round 1
When: 17 March
Where: Mountain View Motor Sport Complex
The opening round of the Grafton Sporting Car Club’s Hill Climb series begins this weekend and looks stronger than ever after 60 years of successful hill climbs.
In the corresponding round last year, Miles Hoare took out the event after putting on a sensational display to win by two seconds, while James Short won the last round of the year by less than a second.
Entry for Sunday’s event is free with canteen facilities available for all attendees.
