2019 Make Smoking History Targa West
When: 8 -11 August
Where: Perth, Western Australia
For the 15th time in its history, the Make Smoking History Targa West hits the surrounding areas of Perth’s city surrounds as both classic and modern cars put on a show for the Western Australian Public.
For four days, competitors will race against the clock and each other on closed road special stages in and around Perth, Whiteman Park, Muchea, Ellenbrook, Kalamunda, Parkerville and Toodya before returning to the City of Perth for the special conclusion.
The action is free for spectators to come down and watch the stages as the cars roar past, with 50 crews entered into the popular tarmac rally.
Hindmarsh Shire Rainbow Desert Enduro
When: 9 - 11 August
Where: Rainbow
The BFGoodrich CAMS Australian Off Road Championship (AORC) heads to Rainbow, with the western Victorian town hosting what will be a fitting finale.
The championship fight between two legends of the sport – Shannon Rentsch and Mark Burrows – as well as a number of others drivers an outside chance to secure the title and etch their name in history. The battles extend through the various class championships as well, promising plenty of action throughout the field.
With 53 crews tackling more than 500 competitive kilometres of sand, mud, gravel and grass – the thrilling conclusion to the AORC is one not to be missed.
With Scrutineering to take place on Friday night, Prologue begins Saturday morning before drivers take on two laps of the 70km course on Saturday afternoon and a further five on Sunday.
KCF Rallysport Short Course Challenge - Burnett Sprint
When: 10 August
Where: HQ - Benarkin State School
The Challenge has undergone some changes in recent times in order to ease the pressure on competitors with the introduction of A to B timing.
Headlined by CAMS Australian Rally Championship driver Adrian Coppin, the 19 crews are set to do battle in the forests of Benarkin with more than 100 competitive kilometres.
There is one free spectator point available for fans with the cars passing through on two occasions.
