2019 CAMS M.I.D. Support Australian Khanacross Championship
When: 21-22 September
Where: Awabawac Park
Another national Championship winner will be decided this weekend with the New South Wales based Westlakes Automobile Club hosting Australia’s best Khanacross competitors.
The competition will be fierce at Awabawac Park and Ringwood Park as teams battle it out for the 2019 CAMS Australian Khanacross Championship.
More than 50 drivers from around the country will go head-to-head to claim the ultimate bragging rights across two days of non-stop action with Aaron Wuillemin headlining the impressive field of title hopefuls.
The drivers will undergo a minimum of six tests across both locations, testing their skills on the gravel round with the tests to be made up of both sealed and unsealed surfaces throughout the weekend.
Starting from 12pm on Saturday at Ringwood Park and 9am on Sunday at Awabawac, both locations will offer free admission for spectators.

The Shannons Nationals holds its sixth round for 2019 at the iconic Sandown Raceway and there is much to like about the six competing categories at this weekend’s race meeting.

Tickets to Saturday and Sunday start from $30, while entry for Friday’s competition is free for all, as well as children under 16 years old.

Western Victorian Crane Trucks Valley Stages Rally
When: 22 September
Where: Yarra Glen
The penultimate round of the CAMS Hino Geelong Victorian Rally Championship takes place this weekend with an astounding 71 crews entered into the sixth round of the year.
Throughout the weekend, competitors in the VRC will complete 135 competitive kilometres across 12 special stages in the gravel roads of the picturesque Yarra Valley area.
As the championship reaches its season climax with just two rounds remaining, current leader Aaron Windus holds a comfortable 35-point buffer over Justin Walker, while a further five points behind is Warren Lee who is enjoying his own battle for third pace with Luke Sytema.
All four drivers are part of the huge field for this weekend’s rally in Yarra Valley, with competitors in Victorian Rally Club Series also on display, taking on eight stages of their own.
Adelaide Hills Rally
Another Championship could potentially be decided this weekend in the CAMS Australian Rally Championship in South Australia.
Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Harry Bates and John McCarthy have won all four of the first four events, and a fifth would likely seal a maiden title for the pair with only one round remaining after this weekend’s battle in the Adelaide Hills, depending on how the field finishes.
The Adelaide Hills Rally will be a real test for Australia’s best rally crews, with plenty of spectator friendly action.
Saturday night’s Super Special Stage at The Bend is expected to be a highlight, with tickets on sale here.
