Coates Hire Newcastle 500
When: 21-24 November
Where: Newcastle
The final round of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship has arrived with the streets of Newcastle to host Australia’s premier circuit racing category.
With the drivers’ title already decide , expect teams to go hard for the Teams’ Championship which will ultimately decide the order of pit lane in 2020. It’s sure to be a thrilling end to the season with both Red Bull Holden and DJR Team Penske fighting for top spot.
Joining the Championship are a number of popular support categories with Dunlop Super2 Series, Aussie Racing Cars, the ECB SuperUtes and the Toyota 86 Racing Series.
Infinite Time Attack
When: 23 November
Where: Barbagallo Raceway
It’s a day full of entertainment for motor sport fans of all ages as the popular events has participants bring their fastest street and track cars in a bid to post the fastest lap around the West Australian circuit.
As well as the main event, which will have a number of prizes up for grabs for class winners, there are also a number of other activations including the Xclusiv Show & Shine, RaceKraft Simulators, autograph sessions and a special Mini Gymi.
The Mini Gymi is an autokhana knockout style format with competitors going head to head on the infield and running the prepared course simultaneously on each side. Whoever reaches the middle first, wins the round and progresses to the next stage.
With the event kicking off at 9am and ending at 5:30 local time, it ‘s an event the whole family will enjoy and best of all – it’s free for everyone.
Geelong Revival Motoring Festival
When: 23-24 November
Where: Eastern Beach – Geelong
The Geelong Revival Motoring Festival is back as thousands of classic and vintage vehicles are welcomed to the Victorian town, all of which will be on display throughout the weekend.
Whether it be through the quarter mile sprint, the motor show or the show and shines, the three day extravaganza caters to every discipline of cars, bikes and caravans from all eras.
With tickets starting for free and ranging to $20, the festival is one not to be missed as the action takes place from 9am each day. It’s the ultimate event for passionate motor sport fans.
